Hi, I'm Tom

I started Web Cat in Melbourne in 2026. I've worked in tech for most of my career, and over the years I've watched a lot of small Australian businesses struggle with their hosting. Some were with big overseas companies where getting help meant waiting in a queue. Others were with small resellers who disappeared as soon as something went wrong.

I wanted to offer the hosting I'd want to buy myself: servers in Australia, prices in Australian dollars, and support from someone who knows exactly how everything is set up.

How Web Cat works

Web Cat is a small business, so when you email or open a ticket, I'm the one who reads it and replies. Support runs from 9am to 9pm Melbourne time, Monday to Friday.

Your sites run on servers in a Sydney data centre, operated by our infrastructure partner. I look after everything on top of that: setting up your account, moving your sites across, keeping an eye on things and helping when you get stuck.
